Here you will find a list of frequently asked questions and answers.
How do I play on the server?
Upon entering the server for the first time, you'll get to choose a starter Pokémon and some starter equipment. From there, you can do /rtp to teleport into the wilderness and start your journey. You can set up a claim and battle Pokémon and trainers around the area!
How many homes does a Trainer get?
A Trainer gets a total of 3 homes: 2 /home and 1 /plc home (remember, /plc home only works inside a claim).

How do I catch Pokémon?
There are 2 ways to catch a Pokémon:
Catch them during battle using the Bag button (you must have pokeballs of some kind in your inventory).
Throw a pokeball directly at a Pokémon in the wild.
Where did my Pokémon go?
Once you've captured a Pokémon, it will go directly to your party. If your party is full, don't worry! Your Pokémon is automatically deposited into your PC. To access your PC, head to /warp pokecenter, OR if you are Ace rank or higher, you can access your PC anywhere by using the /pc command!
How can I swap out my Pokémon?
If you want to change out your Pokémon in your party, simply click on a Pokémon in your PC and click on the Pokémon in your party that you want to swap. The new Pokémon will now be in your party and the other Pokémon will go into your PC.
How do I get more pokeballs?
You can buy more pokeballs from /shop (this is the most commonly used method).
Alternatively, you can also craft pokeballs by following /guide pokeball.
How do I level up my Pokémon?
Level up your Pokémon by winning battles, fighting trainers and bosses, or using rare candies.
How do I evolve my Pokémon?
To know when and how to evolve your Pokémon, use /evoline [name].
Note: some evolutions will require custom items.
What are pokecoins?
Pokecoins are the main currency in PokéWild. You will use pokecoins for various things like purchasing more land for claims, buying items from /shop, buying items or Pokémon from /gts, or conducting trade deals with other players.
How do I earn pokecoins?
You can earn pokecoins through defeating Pokémon, bosses, and trainers in the wild, completing daily battlepass quests or hunts though /pass and /hunt, or selling items through /gts, /sell, or player trades.
Please be cautious when conducting trades with others and always agree to the terms and follow through with the trade. We do not tolerate scamming.
What are tokens?
Tokens are a premium currency you can use in /pokebuilder to edit the stats and qualities of your pokemon.
You can also use tokens in /hunt to increase the difficulty - 25 tokens for a medium hunt and 50 tokens for a hard hunt.
How do I earn tokens?
You can earn tokens by voting (/vote), completing /bingo and /pass quests, or you can purchase them from our store (/store).
How do I ride my Pokémon?
You can ride your Pokémon by equipping it with a custom mount (/recipebook Mount).
There are 3 types of mounts: land mount, surf mount, and fly mount. Each Pokémon can only equip their corresponding mount type.
Once the mount is equipped, you simply right click your Pokémon to ride it.
Fly mounts require a lot of gold, which can be found more often in the Mesa (Badlands) biome.
Where can I find specific Pokémon?
To find out information about the spawn of a Pokémon, use /wiki [pokemon]. This will give you information like:
BIOME - the biome is spawns in, it's preferred spawn time, spawn weather, and spawn location
RARITY - how rare the Pokémon spawn rate is (the lower the spawn rate, the harder it is to find)
DROP - some wild Pokémon will drop items when defeated (not every Pokémon will drop something)
How do I claim land?
Once you set out into the world, you can set up a claim. To do so, you will need your golden shovel claim tool (you can get one in /kit trainer).
With the claim tool in your hand, you will be able to pull up a tutorial about how to claim your land.
Please remember: you are not allowed to claim lock others. When selecting a claim, make sure you are at least 8 chunks away from another claim
How can I equip/remove items on my Pokémon?
To equip an item, simply right click the item and a GUI will appear with a list of Pokémon that can use that item, or you can throw out your Pokémon (right click the Pokémon you are holding) and then right click the Pokémon while holding the item you want to equip.
To remove an item, SHIFT CLICK on the Pokémon while your inventory is open, this will open a menu for your Pokémon and you will then click the item you want to remove. (Please note: you cannot equip items from this menu.)
How do I get legendary Pokémon and how does the legendary spawn work?
Legendary Pokémon have a chance to spawn every hour (60 minutes apart) near the player and will announce in chat: A legendary Articuno has spawned in Snowy Tundra!
The spawn location of the legendary when notified will always be within your sight, however, if there is another person in that biome, it could spawn near them so be sure to keep an eye out!
For legendaries that can't spawn naturally, they will have a chance to spawn upon Vote Party amongst all legendaries.

How can I find shiny Pokémon?
A shiny pokemon will spawn randomly in the wilderness. They will have blue particles under them, look different, and have a blue star icon next to their name.
Once a shiny spawns in the wilderness, a notification will appear in the chat for everyone in the vicinity.
Alternatively, you can buy shiny eggs from our store (/store).
What are some custom items and how do I get them?
Evolution Items - can mostly be obtained from /shop or /warp battletower
Held Items - can be obtained from /shop, /warp battletower, winning a tournament (check /loot); berries can drop from breaking grass or leaves
Megastones/Keystones - drop randomly from master loot after defeating a Purple Boss (check /loot); can also be purchased from our store (/store)
Fossils - can drop when mining normal stone. You can hatch them in /warp pokecenter at the Fossil Machine
EV Related Items - usually obtained from /shop
Nature/IV Capsules - these completely re-roll a Pokémon's nature or IVs. They can be obtained from the battle tower shop at /warp battletower
Mounts - can be crafted through /recipebook Mount
PC, Trade Machine, Healer, and Ranch - can be crafted through /recipebook [name] (e.g. /recipebook Healer)
Please note: most items can also be purchased through /gts
How can I mega evolve my Pokémon?
You need a keystone inside your inventory and the correct megastone equipped to your Pokémon, then you can evolve after you enable it (keystone icon on the bottom right, next to your 4th move) and select a move inside the battle.
How can I get fossil Pokémon?
You get fossil Pokémon by mining normal stone or you can choose a fossil Pokémon when buying a rank from /store.
